SUKKUR:  A man lost his ears and nose in an attack by some men to settle scores in Bello Naich village in Mirpur Mathelo, Ghotki, on Wednesday night.

Abdul Majeed Naich was on his way back to the village when he was ambushed by armed men and attacked with a sharp knife. The injured was shifted to Civil Hospital, Mirpur Mathelo, where he was provided first aid but doctors were unable to mend his wounds.
On Abdul Majeed’s complaint, the police registered an FIR against Abdul Wahab Naich, Haleem Naich, Roshan Naich, Ghulam Fareed Naich and Haneef Naich. Abdul Wahab and Roshan were later arrested.
Abdul Wahab told the police that his younger brother, Riaz, and Abdul Majeed’s son, Asif, lived in Saudi Arabia and Riaz called him two days ago and complained that Asif had humiliated and tortured him. Therefore, he cut Abdul Majeed’s ears and nose to avenge his brother’s humiliation
