of a prostitute whose body was found in a van in St Kilda's red-light district
yesterday.
The 40-year-old sex worker suffered upper body and facial injuries
and died inside the van, police believe.
Officers were called to Greeves St about 2.55pm yesterday.
The woman had been living inside the white Ford Econovan that had
been parked on Greeves St for the past month, police said.
Detectives will await a post mortem examination in the coming days
to determine the cause of death.
Police photographers were gathering evidence when the Herald
Sun visited the site yesterday.
